Xbox Dev Mode stuck in "Device is being processed" for 4 days
Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with Xbox Developer Mode that appears to be related to the Microsoft backend.
Console:
Xbox Series S
Issue timeline:
Developer Mode was working normally.
Suddenly, I was no longer able to sign in to my Microsoft account inside Dev Mode.
The error displayed was 0x87DD0033.
My Microsoft account works normally in Retail Mode.
Xbox Live works correctly in Retail Mode.
Xbox Device Portal is accessible and works normally.
There were no errors reported in Device Portal.
Troubleshooting already performed:
Restarted the console multiple times.
Performed a full power cycle.
Cleared the Alternate MAC Address.
Verified the network connection.
Confirmed that Retail Mode signs in successfully.
Confirmed that Device Portal is fully functional.
Since none of these steps resolved the issue, I removed Developer Mode in order to recreate the environment.
After removing Dev Mode, I have been unable to activate it again.
The Dev Mode Activation app always displays the following message:
"The operation can't be performed because device is being processed."
This message has remained for almost four days.
At the time I removed Developer Mode, Microsoft services were experiencing instability, so I suspect the device became stuck in a processing state on the backend.
Could you please verify my device status in the Xbox Developer Program backend and clear the "Device is being processed" state so I can activate Developer Mode again?
Thank you.
