Hi Canonbie,
I understand that the contact list appears empty in new Outlook, although selecting the Mail icon correctly adds all 18 members to the To field.
Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors cannot access your Outlook account or diagnostic information.
Since the complete list is added to the message, the members do not appear to have been removed. Please open People > All contact lists, select the affected list, and then select Edit. If all 18 members appear there, select Save, close new Outlook, and reopen it. For reference, see Create, edit, or delete a contact list in Outlook.
If the normal Members view remains empty, you can continue using the Mail icon as a temporary workaround. There is no need to delete or recreate the original list while it still addresses all 18 recipients correctly.
Since the same display behavior occurs in new Outlook on both Windows 10 and Windows 11, you can contact Microsoft Support for further investigation:
- Visit the Microsoft Support contact page: Contact - Microsoft Support
- In the search bar provided on the page, type "Outlook issue" and press Enter.
- Click on the "Get Help" button that appears.
- Scroll down the page until you see and click on the "Contact Support" option.
- When prompted to select your product or service, choose "Other Products".
- For the category, choose "Outlook".
- Look for and click on "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".
- Confirm your personal email when prompted - this is the email Microsoft will use to communicate with you during and after the support session.
- Explain your situation clearly: Be concise but provide all the relevant details.
I hope Microsoft Support can examine why the members are not being displayed correctly in new Outlook.
