Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Hello Panigrahy, Subhesh Kumar
Thank you for your post.
To better understand why the Report Phishing option is not visible, could you please confirm what type of email account you are using in Outlook? Is it a personal account, such as Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, or Gmail.com, or a Microsoft 365 business account provided by your company or organization, such as @company.com?
If you are using a personal account, please select any email, click the three-dot menu (...), and choose "Customize".
Under Buttons – Manage buttons in your ribbon, check whether "Report" is available. If it is, select the checkbox next to Report, click Save, and then check whether the button appears on the Outlook ribbon.
If you are using a Microsoft 365 business account, please sign in to Outlook on the web and check whether the Report button appears there when you select an email: https://outlook.office.com/
For business accounts, the availability of this button may also depend on the reporting settings configured by your organization’s IT administrator
If possible, please share a screenshot showing the Outlook ribbon or the available options after selecting the suspicious email. Before posting the screenshot, please hide any email addresses, message content, or organizational information. This will help me better understand your current Outlook setup and provide the most appropriate guidance.
In the meantime, please do not open any attachments, click any links, reply to the suspicious message, or provide credentials or payment information.
Kind regards,
