We have some people who have the ability the get voice mails from their desk phones (phones are a mitel 5000s series and again no software on their computers for mitel) to their work outlook email (exchange online plan 1). We have been trying to get this to work with new people coming in but for the life of us we dont know how it was set up. There is no software for the phones on their computers that would send voice mails to their emails and there are no rules in place that would send voice mails to their outlook emails. Has anyone else run into a similar situation that might be able to help?

    Hi @Bradley

In this situation, I would recommend consulting the Mitel support team first to better understand the configuration and integration on their side. Since this forum primarily focuses on Microsoft 365 technologies, and the scenario involves a third -party solution, it may be difficult for community members to provide detailed guidance without access to a similar environment.

In addition, you may consider running a message trace to identify the source IP address and determine which mailbox sent the voicemail message to the recipient.

For more details, please refer to the following article:  Message trace in the new EAC in Exchange Online | Microsoft Learn

I hope this helps point you in the right direction for your investigation.
