I had the same issue. Eventually got into the BitLocker Key Recovery page by using Microsoft Edge and Bing on a Windows 10 PC.
Microsoft Account Recovery Key Page Never Loads for Any Device
I am trying to access BitLocker recovery keys for a personal Microsoft account.
The Microsoft account signs in successfully and all account pages appear to function normally.
What works:
- account.microsoft.com loads normally
- Profile page loads normally
- Devices page loads normally
- Multiple devices are listed on the account
What does not work:
- Clicking Manage recovery keys for any device causes the page to load indefinitely
- The issue occurs for every device on the account
Troubleshooting already performed:
- Multiple browsers (Chrome and Edge)
- InPrivate/Incognito sessions
- Multiple computers
- Multiple Internet connections
- Other Microsoft accounts can access recovery keys successfully on the same systems
Developer Tools show authentication completing successfully with multiple OAuth redirects and HTTP 302 responses. No 401, 403, or 500 errors are present. The process stalls after the final authentication redirect.
This appears to be specific to this Microsoft account rather than a browser, device, or network issue.
Recovery Key ID shown on the BitLocker recovery screen:
C9EFBFB8-9C6F-4869-8FB5-92281FC9DA12
Is there a way to have this issue escalated to Microsoft Account Support for investigation of the Recovery Keys portal for this account? I am trying to access BitLocker recovery keys for a personal Microsoft account.

2026-08-03T07:44:54.0266667+00:00 There is a solution which worked for me and I would urge the moderators to post it as quick a possible in all other threads asociated with the same issue:
I had the same issue since 31.07. And now I just change my Password and thank god I could get in to Bitlocker immediatly!
so this should fix the issue. Maybe it's related to the oldness of the PW.

There is nothing wrong with your computer or browser, this is a server issue that Microsoft needs to fix.
Wait a while and try accessing the BitLocker Key Recovery page again, this is an intermittent problem. it should be accessible soon.
