I have two recurring charges on my business bank account, both with reference numbers and MSBILL.INFO. I need to understand what these are for.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your question.

The MSBILL.INFO entries on your bank statement indicate charges processed by Microsoft. However, the bank reference number alone typically does not identify the specific product or service being billed. These charges are commonly associated with Microsoft subscriptions or services such as Microsoft 365, Azure, OneDrive, Xbox, Microsoft Store purchases, or other recurring Microsoft transactions.

Before we go any further, I’d like to gently clarify that this is a user to user support forum. I’m not part of the Microsoft billing team, so I don’t have the ability to directly cancel subscriptions or intervene on billing matters. That said, I truly hope I can help review your situation, offer some guidance, and support you in finding the right next steps as best as possible.

Please try the following steps to investigate the charge:

Scenario 1: If the charges are related to a Microsoft 365 Business account

    • Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center with admin account
    • Navigate to Billing > Bills & payments > Invoices
    • Review your invoices and compare the invoice amounts and dates with the charges appearing on your bank statement.
    • Also check: Billing > Your products
    • Look for active subscriptions with recurring billing enabled.

If you cannot determine the source of the charge, you can submit a support request from the Admin Center:

    • Select Help & Support (bottom-right corner)
    • Enter a request such as "Unable to identify a billing charge"
    • Choose Contact support and select chat or phone assistance

If you cannot access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, I recommend reaching out to the Microsoft Billing Team directly using the contact numbers listed here: Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support.

Scenario 2: If the charges are related to a personal Microsoft account

    • Sign in to: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders
    • Review your Order History for transactions matching the charge dates and amounts.
    • If you have multiple Microsoft accounts, check each one, as the subscription may be associated with a different email address.

If you’re still unable to identify the charge, please contact Microsoft Support through the Contact - Microsoft Support

Information to have ready when contacting Microsoft Support:

To help the billing team locate the transaction more quickly, please have the following information available:

    • The charge date(s)
    • The charge amount(s)
    • The last four digits of the payment card used
    • Any Microsoft account email addresses that may be associated with the charges

Providing these details will help Microsoft's billing team trace the transactions and determine exactly which subscription or service generated the charges.

I hope this helps you identify the recurring charges. Should any further questions arise, please don’t hesitate to reach out again.

Thank you for your understanding and wishing you a wonderful day ahead.
