My Brother MFC-J480DW is connected via Bluetooth to my laptop and works GREAT. I need to add the scanner so I can use the flat bed scanner instead of my ScanSnap scanner. What do I need to do, step-by-step, to make that happen.

My Brother MFC J480DW has been on WiFi for a LONG time.

Apologies, if I said BlueTooth instead. I did get it figured out and now have access to the flatbed scanner as well as the printer.

Thank you for your efforts to help me!!

The specs for the Brother MFC-J480DW do not show Blue Tooth support. Is it actually connected by WiFi?

Have you installed the full driver and software package from Brother? You can download it here -
