I purchased Microsoft 365 family through Apple and recently had to get new debit card. I have updated the payment info and Microsoft is on the subscription list, so its confirmed it is paid for.

When I try and open an old document I am still getting the:

Subscription Required to Edit and Save dialog box. Sign in to activate. When I click on the Activate button on the right the Get started with Microsoft 365 box opens. I click on already have subscription sign in.

**Sign in with email: ****@gmail.com

Box shows up: Unkown Errors while the Activating box is circling in the background.

I have been trying to figure this out for about 2 weeks now...its probably something I did on my end, but I absolutely cannot figure this out. Meanwhile I have not access to the program.

Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with this situation. First, sign in at the following link and confirm that the subscription appears as active under that Microsoft account:

    https://account.microsoft.com/services

If the subscription is active, run the Office License Removal Tool provided here:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-activation-licensing/how-to-remove-office-license-files-on-a-mac

After removing the license files, reopen an Office application and try to activate it again using the Microsoft account associated with the subscription.

If activation still fails, please share a screenshot of the complete error message, making sure to hide any personal information. I’ll be waiting for the results so I can continue helping you.
