Having trouble accessing my husband's Microsoft 365 subscription even though he is added as a family member and is the family organizer. H

My husband is added to my family sharing account. He is the Organizer. He also has a family subscription to Microsoft 365, why cant I have access to this. when I sign into my account it does not see that I should have access to this subscription. It keeps prompting my to repurchase my own subscription. How can I get access?

I can see that you are having trouble accessing your husband's Microsoft 365 subscription

Your husband being listed as a family organizer does not automatically give other family members access to his Microsoft 365 Family subscription. The subscription owner must separately share the subscription benefits with each person.

Please ask your husband to:

1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 subscription sharing page using the account that owns the subscription.
2. Find your account and select Start sharing or send you a new invitation by email or sharing link.
3. Open the invitation while signed in with the Microsoft account you want to use for Microsoft 365.
4. Select Get started, then Join now if prompted.

After accepting, sign out of Word, Excel, and the Microsoft account website, then sign back in using that same invited account. Simply belonging to the family group is not enough because the subscription owner must actively share the benefits.

If your husband does not see Start sharing, please verify that he is signed in with the account that purchased the active Microsoft 365 Family subscription.
