All meine Worddateien sind schreibgeschützt. Die Dateien werden auch nur von mir verwendet.

Wie kann ich den Schreibschutz generell aufheben.

Sorry to hear this. If every Word file is affected, first create a new blank document and check whether you can type and save it. If the blank document is also read-only, this is probably an Office activation issue rather than protection applied to the files. In Word, go to File > Account and check whether Unlicensed Product or Activation Required appears.

If new documents work normally, open one affected file and try:

    1. Go to File > Info > Protect Document.
    2. If Always Open Read-Only is selected, click it to clear the setting.
    3. Close Word, right-click the file in File Explorer, select Properties, clear Read-only, and click OK.
    4. If a yellow security bar appears, select Enable Editing, but only if you trust the file.

I’ll be waiting for the results to continue helping you.
