Access denied after opening Outlook, then a series of login to account

Outlook opens normally, then switches to access denied. It opens my browser, goes to sign in saying Microsoft wants to sign in on Gmail. If I click ok it just does the same thing again.

    Hi!

    Can you access your Gmail normally via webmail?

    Are you using Chrome or Edge?

    Outlook is likely trying to authenticate using OAuth, but something is blocking it. The browser might be what's causing the issue.

    Is the same email address in Outlook linked to Windows? Open Windows Settings > Accounts > Your info.
