I fixed the issue myself by changing mobile numbers to my current location. It was previously set to Country B which im not in.

Privacy note: I’ve replaced the specific country names in your post with Country A and Country B to help protect your personal information.

    Hi Danny Dan,

I understand how frustrating it must be to run into both a sign-in loop and a region mismatch after purchasing a gift card.

To help narrow this down, could you please confirm:

    • Are you currently living in Country A or Country B?
    • Is the gift card specifically labeled for use in Country A?
    • Was it sold directly by Amazon or by a third-party seller on Amazon?
    • Do you receive a specific error message or error code when redeeming the card?
    • Are you using a VPN or proxy when trying to sign in?

In the meantime, please try the following for the sign-in loop:

    • Open the Microsoft account page in an InPrivate or Incognito window and try signing in again.
    • Clear the cookies and cached data for Microsoft-related websites.
    • Temporarily disable any ad-blocking or privacy extensions.
    • Turn off any VPN or proxy connection.
    • Try a different browser, device, or network if available.
    • Check whether you can sign in to https://outlook.com/ using the same Microsoft account.

Please note that Microsoft gift cards and account balances are region-specific. If the gift card was purchased for Country A but the account is currently set to Country B, the card may not be redeemable on that account. Microsoft also advises changing the account region only when you have moved to another country or region for an extended period, as account funds cannot be transferred between regions.

If the gift card was purchased for the wrong region, please contact Amazon or the seller to ask whether a refund or replacement is possible. If you currently live in Country A and believe the account is incorrectly showing Country B, you may need to contact Microsoft Support for help reviewing the account region after the sign-in issue has been resolved.

For your privacy and security, please do not post your gift card code, email address, billing address, or payment information in this public forum. Thank you so much for your understanding.
