Managing personal Outlook.com account settings, security, and privacy
Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.
Have you tried resetting your Microsoft Outlook Account password first?
- Open an incognito tab.
- If this is a personal account, please use the following link to reset the password:
https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx
Once the password reset is successful, sign in with your new password on the Security Settings page of your Microsoft account here-
https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage
Under the 'Additional Security' section, enable Two-step Verification.
So, even if someone knows your password, they won't be able to sign in without the additional layer of security.
Make sure you at least have three verification methods, such as a recovery email address, Authenticator, or Passkey, set up to verify your identity.

In addition, on the same security settings page, scroll down until you find the 'Sign out everywhere ' option. Microsoft will sign out of your account from all trusted devices within 24 hours.
Once you've made these changes to your account, sign out of your account from the Outlook app and then sign in again. These safety measures should protect your account from hackers.
See if you are experiencing the same problem afterward.
