There's a lot of things you need to go such as check your driver versions, GPU VBIOS, and many other things that might be incompatible with memory integrity. This is especially true for older hardware.

I would not recommend turning this off unless you like apps randomly crashing, not starting, or just general hassles about doing basic things on your computer. It's also VERY hard to turn off completely after the fact.
