Outlook365 for Mac - Attribution of original message - how can i format it

When you select "Custom format..." there's no help for syntax, available fields, etc.

The only thing I've found that works is [NAME] and [DATE].

I'd also like them to be on separate lines, but it just puts them on the same line.

From what I've tested, I'm only able to use [NAME] and [DATE]. It doesn't recognize [SUBJECT] or [TITLE] and i can't find any information anywhere about what options/syntax is available.

Thank you for your response.

Based on what I have found, the Attribution of Original Message setting only supports inserting fields such as Name, Date, and Address. You can either enter these manually or click the drop-down arrow next to the field to open a dialog box that displays the supported placeholders.

If you would like this information to appear on separate lines and include the Subject line, I recommend using the default option: "Include From, Date, To, and Subject line from original message."

Thank you very much for the information. As a request, I'd like to suggest adding an ability to add the subject and allow for the standard escape character '\n' to allow for entries on multiple lines.

For the "Attribution of original message" setting in Outlook for Mac, Outlook currently supports custom formatting on a single line only. Therefore, you cannot add multiple lines or apply a multi-line format to this section.
