CRITICAL BUG: Email notifications are not working for emails routed to subfolders in iOS app

I have confirmed all of my settings on outlook.com and the mobile app on iPhone. The folders do not even show a new email notification that there are new/unread messages in the folder. This is a FATAL bug that has caused bills and payments to be nearly missed thanks to the app not doing a BASIC function. When we receive new emails, there should be popup banner notifications if we have those programmed, regardless if the email arrives in the Inbox or is routed to a subfolder by a rule. Why are we been penalized for being organized?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I assume that means you are using Rules to move incoming mail to a folder? If so, I am sorry, but that is by design.

There is a very klugy workaround. See:
