    Hello @Manny Chavez

If you're referring to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales, Customer Service, or other Dataverse-based apps), you can create and upload a Word template that contains dynamic fields mapped to your Dynamics data.

    The general steps are:

    • In Dynamics 365, navigate to the table (entity) you want to use (for example, Accounts, Contacts, or Opportunities).
      • Select Templates > Word Templates > Create Template.
    • Choose the fields (and any related entities) you want to include, then download the generated template.
    • Open the template in Microsoft Word, enable the Developer tab if necessary, and use the provided XML mapping to insert the dynamic content controls.
    • Save the template and upload it back to Dynamics 365 under Word Templates.
    • Users can then generate documents from records using the uploaded template, and the placeholders will be populated automatically.

If you're asking about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the process is different and typically involves Word Layouts or Report Layouts rather than Word Templates.

    Could you clarify:

    • Which Dynamics 365 product are you using (Sales, Customer Service, Finance & Operations, Business Central, etc.)?
    • Are you trying to create a document template for records (e.g., quotes, invoices, contracts), or are you referring to mail merge or another feature?
