    Hi Roger Behlmann

Please reply with only these details:

    • Is the account Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, MSN, or another provider?
    • Is storage full or near full?
    • Do missing messages appear in Junk Email, Other, Deleted Items, or Recoverable Items?
    • Does any sender receive a bounce-back error?
    • Do you see any unfamiliar activity on the recent activity page?

    Please try the steps below:

    1) Check Outlook.com storage

Sign in to Outlook.com on the web and check your mailbox and Microsoft cloud storage.

    2) Check Junk Email, Other, filters, and blocked senders

In Outlook.com, check the following areas:

    • Junk Email
    • The Other tab, if Focused Inbox is enabled
    • Any message list filters, such as Unread, Flagged, or similar
    • Settings > Mail > Junk email > Blocked senders and domains

    3) Check rules and forwarding

    In Outlook.com, go to:

    • Settings > Mail > Rules
    • Settings > Mail > Forwarding

Remove or disable anything that could move, delete, archive, or forward incoming messages. This is especially important if only some messages arrive.

    4) Ask one sender to check for a bounce-back

Ask one person who emailed you during the last four days whether they received a delivery failure or bounce-back message.

    • If they received one, ask for the exact error text.
    • If they did not receive an error and you still cannot find the message, Microsoft recommends asking the sender to refer to Sender Support in Outlook.com

    5) Check account security

Review your Microsoft account recent activity page. If you see unfamiliar or unusual activity, secure the account.

    6) Remove the phone sync partnership if only the phone is not updating

If Outlook.com on the web receives mail but the phone does not, remove and re-add the account on the phone.

    7) Recover missing deleted items if needed

If older messages appear to be missing, open Deleted Items in Outlook.com, then select Recover items deleted from this folder if available.

Please tell me how it goes. If the problem persists, please don’t hesitate to reply to this thread and I will be happy to help. Have a lovely day!
