Dear @D x

If you have a backup, you can restore it. Just make sure the newly installed Microsoft Authenticator app doesn't already have any accounts added to it. Then sign in with the same account you used for the backup and restore it.

If you're restoring from the cloud, the account you're trying to recover shouldn't already exist in the app. Otherwise, you could end up replacing the existing entry. Microsoft's guide is here if you need it: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/back-up-and-recover-account-credentials-in-the-authenticator-app-bb939936-7a8d-4e88-bc43-49bc1a700a40

If you didn't have a backup, then unfortunately there's no way to get the deleted account back from the Authenticator app. In that case you'll need to go through the recovery process for the service you're trying to access. The Authenticator app only generates the verification codes, the 2FA settings themselves are managed by the service, not by the app.
