How do I delete a contact group that I accidentally deleted?

Hi Shelly Zachary,

I understand that you accidentally deleted a contact group and would like to restore it in classic Outlook for Windows.

Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors cannot access or restore items in your mailbox directly.

1. In classic Outlook, open Mail, and then select the Deleted Items folder.
2. Find the deleted contact group, right-click it, select Move > Other Folder, choose Contacts, and then select OK.
3. If the group is no longer in Deleted Items, select that folder, and then select Home > Recover Deleted Items From Server.
4. Select the contact group, choose Restore Selected Items, and select OK. The recovered group will return to Deleted Items, so move it from there to the Contacts folder.

If Recover Deleted Items From Server is unavailable, the account may not be an Exchange account. Permanently deleted contacts cannot be recovered through this feature for POP or IMAP accounts.
