I would like to creat a form in which we are able to cut apart into 4's to have the same thing typed on each to pass out as a small reminder

John Korchok's response is good. Set up a 4x4 table.

I would recommend using Mapped Content Controls, which are automatic. Position the controls in the first cell of your table, then copy and paste the contents into the other three cells. Change the content in one of the cells and the copies change as well without needing any updating.

    Here's another approach:

    1. On the Mailings tab of the Ribbon, in the Create group, click Labels. The Envelopes and Labels dialog will open with the Labels tab on top.
    2. Click Options...
    3. In the Label Options dialog, select Microsoft as the label vendor (it's usually the default) and choose one of the 1/4 Letter options (depending on whether you want vertical or horizontal sections). Click OK.
    4. If your content is simple, you can type it into the Address panel (with "Full page of the same label" selected) and then click New Document. Otherwise, just click New Document to get a document divided into four equal sections. Create the content in one of them, then copy/paste into the rest.

There are several ways to automatically repeat data in a Word document. Here's an article outlining all of them: Repeating Data  (or populating multiple like fields) For your purposes, method #3 is fairly simple to set up.

Create a one-page document and create a table with 2 rows and 2 columns. In the upper left cell, create your text, then select the text and bookmark it. Then, in the other cells, add a Ref field that points to the bookmark. The text in those cells will automatically update after editing and doing a Print Preview of the document.
