Unable to get sound from Bluetooth Headphones after manually updating all my drivers

As what the title says, I am unable to get any sound coming out of my JBL TUNE510BT Bluetooth Headphones after manually updating all my drivers using a Driver Update, in which Nvidia recommended to me when I started playing some games that were pretty demanding on graphics. Before this, Audio coming from my headphones worked completely fine. These are the things I have already did that was suggested by others:

1: Disconnected Headphones and reconnecting them

2: Turning the device on and off.

3: Going through settings and restarting both Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder via services.msc

4: Troubleshooting the device (Computer says there are no issues that it can detect)

One thing I did notice is when I did a test where the computer plays an audio and a volume bar popped up. Whenever I had something, let's say music from Youtube, playing, the computer detects the audio and says it should be playing out from my Bluetooth headphones, but nothing is playing. I have a feeling I might have broke something when I updated a particular driver and didn't disconnect said headphones.

Thank you in advance for any tips and for those that might encounter a similar issue in the future

    Hi Alaka'i Hennings,

Thank you for coming back and sharing the outcome.

I'm glad to hear you were able to identify the cause of the issue and get your JBL TUNE510BT headphones working again. It sounds like setting the headphones as the default audio output device resolved the problem, even after the driver updates and factory reset.

I also appreciate you taking the time to post the solution. It may help other users who experience similar symptoms where Windows detects audio activity, but no sound is heard through their Bluetooth headphones.

If you run into any other questions or need further assistance in the future, please don't hesitate to reach out in comment section. I'd be happy to help.

    Have a great day!
