turn on locations

hey i bought another printer because the last one wouldn't connect and now im having the same issue. it says that locations is locked by admin.... I am admin. how do i allow it so my printer can locate and connect

    Hi,

    You shouldn't actually need the location system, but if it is asking for it, you can grant permission: go to Start Menu > Settings > Privacy & security > Location (make sure it is on) and also enable the option "Let desktop apps access your location."

    What is your printer model? If you use the manufacturer's installation autorun, I might be able to guide you correctly.

    Turned out I had to call my internet provider to change the “band steering”

    printer works perfectly now
