ISO Upgrade in place (with internet access off and selecting no updates during install) fails:

Since on August 13 build 29617 will loose its certificate - how to upgrade?

All published diagnostics steps were carried on - no effect.

click the 3 dots at the bottom of his Answer

Build 26300 is a Dev build. At this point I would stay

on that build and avoid Canary until more bugs

are worked out.

I re-installed Windows 11 from a CD; went back to an old build - then I run Windows Update - I ended up on build 26300 without any problems - now Windows update does not show any newer updates :-)

Thank you for staying with me on this odyssey - I don't know how to mark your assistance as 'Accepted' - but still I am grateful for your help.
