I’m using macOS Big Sur 11.7.11 on an Intel MacBook Air (Early 2014). My Microsoft 365 Family subscription is active and Word Online works. I have reinstalled Office 16.77, run the official License Removal Tool, removed and re-added the Family sharing, and Office still shows ‘License Not Activated’ with error code 0x0. What do I do?

If your version of MacOS is Big Sur, then the error you are seeing is caused by an update on the 13th of July, many people are seeing the exact same error (0x0) if you are unable to upgrade your MacOS to a newer compatible version, your Office apps will go into Read Only mode, on the link below the full details on that update are provided.

Since they released that update, the old workaround to install a previous version of Office on a Mac will no longer work.
