Since a couple of days Office is asking to activate the application a blocking their use. I've been paying since a while yearly suscription and never had a problem. Why now?

Word, Excel and Power point are blocked. I can recover and reading old documents, but cannot edit them or create new ones.

I need a solution now!!

Thank you for that information, this error is caused by the July 13 update, there is no problem indicated with your subscription or MacOS version.

The best option is to completely uninstall the Office apps using the process provided on this link, then reinstall the Office apps, this has worked for most people to resolve that error.

Are you using the Office apps on a Windows PC or Apple Mac computer?

    1

If you are using the Office apps on a Windows PC:

    pen Word.

At the top right of Word, log out of Office.

Restart (not shut down) your PC, then log back into Office, is your subscription then recognized correctly.

If not, log into your Microsoft account on this link, check the expiry date listed on your subscription, is that listed correctly.

If you are using the Office apps on an Apple Mac computer:

At the top left of your Desktop, click the Apple icon and select 'About this Mac', what version of MacOS is installed on your computer?
