Additional meeting and call-related features and issues within Microsoft Teams for Education
Dear @CabusC-6204
I understand your situation. If restarting your computer helps temporarily, the issue is likely with the Teams app rather than your internet connection. A few things I recommend trying:
First, I recommend you try clearing the Teams cache since corrupted cache files can cause Teams to become slow or freeze. Microsoft recommends resetting or clearing the Teams cache when performance issues occur. For more information and instructions, please refer to this article: Clear the Teams client cache
If the issue persists, I recommend you try repairing it. When you're done, you might need to restart your computer. Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > search for Teams > Advanced options > Choose Repair/Reset.
In the meantime, I recommend you try to sign in to the web version of Teams and see if it performs better.
I hope the information shared helps point you in the right direction. Please try the steps above and let me know if they work. If not, we can continue working together to narrow this down.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. I'm looking forward for your reply.
