I have a 365 Business Basic license. There is no "New Meeting" button at the top of the calendar in Teams. I am only able to schedule a New Event.

    This is by design.

The "New Meeting" button is only for Teams on personal account.

For business users, you will need to use "New event" and then turn on the "Teams meeting" toggle to make it a Teams meeting.

    Hi Bruce

According to Microsoft's current documentation, Teams Calendar now uses a New or New event button, and meeting creation is controlled by the Teams meeting toggle within the event form, rather than always showing a separate New Meeting button.

When you select New Event, check whether there is a Teams meeting toggle in the event window. If available, turn it on and save the event to create a Teams meeting.

If the Teams meeting toggle is also missing, this may indicate an account configuration, Teams policy, or Exchange Online integration issue rather than a licensing limitation. In that case, I recommend asking your organization's IT administrator to verify that both Microsoft Teams and Exchange Online services are enabled for your account and to review any Teams meeting policies assigned to you.

If you are IT administrator, you can refer to this thread: How to fix if Team meeting toggle is missing? - Microsoft Q&A

    I hope this information helps.
