Hello!
Yesterday, OpenAI reduced the costs of GPT 5.6 Luna from $1 to $0.2, but azure still charging $1 (also did for Terra, but reduced 20%. Luna was 80%)

check https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/azure-openai/#pricing

and https://openai.com/index/advancing-the-price-performance-frontier-with-gpt-5-6/

On my yesterday's costs I on Azure Platform I see that Azure still charged with the old pricing (which made us lost a lot of money because we expected to Microsoft automatically update those pricing).

Is there any ETA about when Azure is going to update those prices?

Will the money charged as $1 be refunded?

I just got an answer from Azure Support Center telling me that the website where they show the prices is outdated, but the Azure is already applied the pricing changes since August 1, 2026.

The Engineering team confirmed that the updated pricing decreases for GPT-5.6 Luna and GPT-5.6 Terra became effective on August 1, 2026. They further advised that while the public pricing pages may be updated later in August, customer billing is expected to reflect the new pricing rates effective August 1, 2026.
