    Hi Kaii,

A Windows PIN is specific to the laptop, so it is separate from your Microsoft account password.

    On the laptop sign-in screen:

    Select Sign-in options.

    Look for the password/key icon.

Select it and enter the password for the Microsoft account connected to that Windows profile.

If the password option is not available, select I forgot my PIN and follow the prompts to verify your Microsoft account and create a new PIN. Microsoft confirms that a forgotten Windows PIN cannot be recovered; it must be reset.

If you only see a passkey or Windows Hello option, the laptop may be configured to allow only passwordless sign-in. In that case, use I forgot my PIN, Web sign-in, or Other ways to sign in, depending on what appears on the screen.

You can also use your tablet to reset your Microsoft account password if needed.

One important detail: the Microsoft account must already be connected to the Windows user profile on that laptop. A different Microsoft account cannot unlock an existing Windows profile.
