    Hi ThisIsSoCool,

I understand how frustrating it can be to see a Microsoft sign-in screen appear every time you start your laptop.

Before suggesting additional troubleshooting, when the sign-in screen appears, is it:

    • The normal Windows sign-in screen asking for your password or PIN?
    • A Microsoft account prompt asking you to sign in to a service such as OneDrive, Microsoft 365, or Microsoft Edge?
    • A window that appears after you have already signed in to Windows?

Based on your description, one possible cause is that a Microsoft app is configured to automatically prompt for account sign-in at startup. As a quick test, you can check whether the prompt is being launched by a startup application:

    1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
    2. Select the “Startup” tab.
    3. Look for Microsoft-related apps such as OneDrive or Microsoft 365.
    4. Temporarily disable one of them, restart the PC, and check whether the prompt still appears.
