    Hi Darhyl

Thanks for your response, No i dont believe 2FA is active as it does not allow me to recover the account or sign in other than answer the recovery questions, Microsoft return an email back saying insufficient information basically, One of the recovery question are can you type exactly some recent email addresses and subject lines contacted. This will not help many people remember the details especially when they are not logged in every day.

It has been possibly 4 weeks now since he has accessed his email, There is a mobile number listed ending in 60 that was used as a recovery method but we no longer recognized any of our know contact numbers ending in 60

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Just to confirm, did your father have two-factor authentication (2FA) active on the account?

If yes, is he able to access the second factor of authentication?

Important: If he has an active 2FA, ACSR will inform him that his recovery request will be ignored. If he only receives a message that the recovery request is either successful or indicates insufficient information, this means that 2FA is disabled.

Also, may I know when was the last time he successfully signed in to his account?

    Best regards,

    Darhyl
