why am i not able to use my pvr gift card for ticket booking?

There is no option available to use pvr gift card and also when i went to the theatres, they refused to use that for ticket booking.

Is it possible that Wohoo has no active relationship with PVR, but they have scammed Microsoft by issuing giftcards anyway?
