there is only one profile for the whole family and i want to add a password to a shortcut that is on my desktop in whick

i want it to require a password to open

There is no existing native method in Windows to password protect a Desktop shortcut in Windows, you could try to find a 3rd party utility to password protect that file, or something like 7zip to put the shortcut in a zip file and password protect the zip file.
