    Hi Donald Seils,

I understand that your Alienware Aurora R15 (Windows 11 Home) enters sleep normally, but after several hours it appears to wake for maintenance or updates, ends up in an error state, and the fans continue spinning until you manually power it off.

    Could you confirm:

    • Does the system show a blue screen before it becomes unresponsive, or does it simply hang with the fans running?
    • Are there any error messages recorded in Reliability Monitor?
    • Is the Aurora R15 still under Dell warranty?

In the meantime, I'd suggest checking whether Windows is generating crash information during these wake events:

    1. Open "Event Viewer".
    2. Go to "Windows Logs" > "System".
    3. Look for Critical or Error events around the time the computer becomes unresponsive, especially entries such as Kernel-Power, BugCheck, or wake-related errors.
    4. Also open "Reliability Monitor" by searching for "View reliability history" and check whether any hardware or Windows failures are reported.

If the issue occurs when the PC wakes from sleep, you can also temporarily test whether sleep is involved by changing: Settings > System > Power & battery > Screen and sleep and setting "Put my device to sleep" to Never for a day or two. If the crashes stop completely, that would point more toward a sleep/wake, driver, or firmware issue rather than the PSU itself.
