Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi Carol Ewing
I understand that you are trying to synchronize your iCloud contacts and calendar with Classic Outlook on Windows, but the integration is not working as expected
To help narrow this down further, could you let me know:
- Which version of iCloud for Windows you are using?
- Under Outlook "File" > "Office Account", what version/build of Outlook is shown?
- Are you trying to sync both contacts and calendar, or does only one of them fail?
- Do you see any message in iCloud for Windows stating that Outlook integration could not be completed?
In the meantime, please try the following:
- Open Outlook and select "File" > "Options" > "Add-ins".
- At the bottom, next to "Manage", select "COM Add-ins" and click "Go".
- Verify that "iCloud Outlook Add-in" is listed and checked. If it is disabled, enable it and restart Outlook.
- After restarting Outlook, check whether the iCloud Contacts and iCloud Calendar folders appear in Outlook.
