What languages support ink to text and what languages support Pen to Text in M365 (Word & OneNote)

I am using

Microsoft® Word for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2606 Build 16.0.20131.20152) 64-bit

And I am using English (United Kingdom) - is this supported ? And if so why do i not have the option only ink to math and ink to shape.

English (United Kingdom) is supported for standard Ink-to-Text recognition. The full list includes en-GB, along with many other languages. However, the newer Ink to Text Pen, sometimes called Pen to Text, has a smaller language list: English, Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Simplified Chinese, and Korean. Its language is taken from the Windows input language.

Therefore, English (United Kingdom) should work. If Word only shows Ink to Math and Ink to Shape, the most likely issue is that the device does not meet the Pen requirements. The feature requires:

Windows 11 version 23H2 or later, with KB5031455 installed

A digital pen or stylus

English selected as the active Windows keyboard/input language

The Microsoft 365 desktop version of Word or OneNote, not OneNote for the web

Check Settings > Time & language > Language & region, make sure English (United Kingdom) is installed, then select its keyboard from the taskbar before reopening Word. Also run Windows Update and Office Update. Your Word build is recent enough, so the Windows version, input-language setting, or pen support is more likely to explain the missing option.
