This post is intended to help anyone who is having trouble getting their To Do list to appear in the Outlook task pane.

I had an issue where my To Do list was not showing in the task pane. Both Microsoft To Do and Outlook were connected to the same email address, which made the situation quite confusing.

I solved the problem by creating an Outlook email address. For simplicity, I replaced my @gmail.com address with an @outlook.com address and set it as my primary email address in Outlook. After that, I added my other email accounts back.

Important: Your To Do list will now appear whenever you are viewing the calendar or the mailbox of your Outlook email account. However, if you switch to one of your linked email accounts, the To Do pane will temporarily disappear. It will reappear as soon as you switch back to either the calendar or the @outlook.com mailbox.

I hope this helps.

    Hi Simon Wölfli

Thank you for sharing the solution that worked for you. I understand that your Microsoft To Do list was not appearing in the Outlook task pane even though Microsoft To Do and Outlook were connected to the same email address.

You resolved the problem by creating an @outlook.com email address, setting it as the primary address in Outlook, and then adding your other email accounts back. You also noted that the To Do pane appears when you view the calendar or mailbox associated with the @outlook.com account. When you switch to another linked email account, the pane may temporarily disappear and then reappear after you return to the @outlook.com mailbox or calendar.

I appreciate you taking the time to post these details. Your experience may be helpful to other users facing the same situation.
