How to log back into my GroupMe/login issues

Hi, I tried logging into my GroupMe and reset my password, but it looks like a new account was created and now all my chats/account details are gone. My phone number is now linked to the new account instead of my original one. Can you help me recover my original account and restore access to my chats?

When you look at your name, do you see a different name, picture or your details have been changed?
