Hi Microsoft Support Team,

I am writing to appeal an exam revocation and account block issued by Pearson VUE during my recent attempt at the AI-901: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals certification exam.

Pearson VUE Case Number: [ 42337602]

Exam Details: AI-901: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals

Description of the Incident:

During the check-in process on OnVUE, I uploaded the required room and identity photos using my mobile phone. Immediately after completing the upload, I stepped away from my desk for a brief moment solely to place my mobile phone completely out of arm's reach to comply with the strict clean-desk policies.

At this point, the actual exam had not started, the NDA was not presented, and no testing content had loaded. I was entirely unaware that the webcam restriction applied immediately upon uploading photos before the exam launch. There was absolutely no intent to compromise exam security; my only goal was to secure the room environment.

Current Status:

Pearson VUE has revoked my session and placed a restriction on my profile. I have already contacted Pearson VUE support and opened an official case, but I am proactively reaching out to Microsoft as the ultimate credentialing authority.

I am an honest test-taker seeking to resolve this misunderstanding so I can continue my professional certification journey with Microsoft. I kindly request that Microsoft review this situation, lift the restriction, and allow me a voucher or opportunity to retake the exam.

Please open a private message channel so I can securely provide details about my profile.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards,

This is a community forum not support, try https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport

You are explicitly informed in the check-in process when you need to place your mobile phone beyond reach.

You are explicitly informed in the check-in process when you are under exam conditions and that you must not leave the view of the webcam.

Your failure to read those instructions and to breach the strict exam rules will lead your exam to be voided and possibly receive a ban from taking exams.

Microsoft will wait for Pearson Vue to complete their investigation.

If you receive a subsequent ban from Microsoft follow the appeals process in the email.

The rules are there to ensure the integrity of the exam
