    Dear @Blinman Mine,

Thank you for reaching out. I understand you're having difficulty registering your device and accessing your Microsoft account on your new laptop.

First, could you please help me with the following information?

    1. I noticed that your post is tagged "For Business", but could you please confirm whether this is a work account provided by your company, or a personal Microsoft account?
    2. What type of device are you trying to add? The option to add a device using a serial number is typically intended for Microsoft hardware products.
    3. What message or error do you receive when you attempt to add the device? Please take a screenshot and share it with me.

Please note that only Microsoft devices and certain Microsoft accessories, can be registered directly using a serial number. For Windows PCs from other manufacturers, signing in with your Microsoft account usually registers the device automatically.

Thank you very much for your valuable time and your cooperation. Looking forward to your update!
