How do I move my subscription to a new laptop? Getting to this page was an ordeal so I don't have high hopes from an ai answer.

If Microsoft 365 was not pre-installed on the old laptop, when you first activated Microsoft 365 (Office) that licence should have become associated to your Microsoft Account as a digital licence online and it is from there that you can install Office on the new laptop without the need for a product key:
