    Hi Bibek joshi,

I'm sorry to hear you've been dealing with Windows Update issues for such a long time. Based on your description, the repeated update failures may be contributing to system performance problems, but we'll need a bit more information to identify the exact cause.

To help narrow this down, please try the following:

    1. Go to Settings > Windows Update > Update history and check whether a specific update or error code is listed as failed.
    2. Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter from Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Windows Update.
    3. Open Command Prompt (Admin) and run:
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    sfc /scannow

These commands can help repair corrupted system files that may prevent updates from installing successfully.

Once you can provide the Windows build number and any update error codes, the community can offer more targeted troubleshooting. Let me know if you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thanks for your effort.

Please run winver.exe and post a screenshot of that dialog. It shows the OS version and build number.
