I know the reason why I got banned from the Xbox network is because one mistake caused it is that Microsoft account <PII removed> to be viewed by everyone is because my everyone settings was accidentally on so everyone could report me back in April 2026 of this year and I'll explain it better so I was supposed to have it on to friends and friends only unfortunately i was banned before I had any time to fix it back but now the permanent ban was a misunderstanding from the Xbox network just because of that setting being on i don't want to be offline because I was mistakenly to be offline and my leaderboard gamerscore i don't want it to reset because I know the meaning why I violated the rules on Xbox one my first in 10 years that I still had this ban

    Hello Mason Stout,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. Please understand that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to cover your personal information in the description. Please notice to hide these personal or organization information next time you post error or some information to protect personal data.

It's unfortunate to hear that your account got banned. For your information, no gaming platform will ban an account based solely on user reports, so I don't think this is the main issue here.

This is just an user-to-user support forum, so I cannot check or revert the ban here. In this case, please try to appeal the ban on enforcement.xbox.com. Thank you for your understanding.
