Cannot renew AZ-204?!

Hi , I received various e-mail claiming i had until august 6th to renew my AZ-204. So i logged in today to do so, but it's saying it retired on the 31st so I can't take the renewal assessment? What's going on? Shouldn't the e-mails have mentioned this? I feel very misled..

I accepted the answer, but obviously am not really helped with this. I'm a little frustrated that I missed my chance to renew because Microsoft itself provided me with false information.

Yep - unfortunately this exam was retired at the end of July - as per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/resources/study-guides/az-204

You might want to check the sources of the emails you received - but, in my experience, the official information from Microsoft has been consistent regarding the retirement date

Thanks. All communication i received from Microsoft on this unfortunately hinted, very explicitly, that my exam should be renewed on the 6th of august (just like it did previous years). If instead I had to renew before July 31, it's weird that the e-mails didn't mention this. I see there's an engage center on Azure for this. will try there.
