How to fix recent issue of mails not searched by microsoft 365 outlook

we use office 365 for mail organise, we use outlook in searching mails.

i cannot find my recent week mails when i searched, it give me result after 3 week ago

I understand Outlook search is only returning emails older than about three weeks and is not finding recent messages.

To help narrow down the cause, could you please confirm:

1. Is this an Outlook.com/Hotmail personal account, or a Microsoft 365 work/school account?
2. Do the missing recent emails appear in the folder normally, but only fail to appear in search results?
3. If you search for the same email in Outlook on the web, do you get the same result?

This information will help determine whether the issue is related to Outlook's local search index or the mailbox search service itself.
