A Cosmos DB has been deleted by mistake. A blank one has been created in it's place with the same name. We need to restore the database to before the delete this morning at around 07:30am UTC.

It's not possible to view the restore points in Azure for this database.

Please escalate with the required team. We will then provide details in private.

    Hi @IV ServiceDesk ,

The Azure Cosmos DB backend team has confirmed that the database account kinlystaging-db was successfully restored to the requested restore point of 2026-08-03 06:58:44 UTC.

Please note that some account-level configurations, including firewall rules, analytics properties, stored procedures, triggers, user-defined functions, and multi-region settings, may need to be reconfigured after the restore.

Once the data has been validated and the required migration is completed, the restored account kinlystaging-db can be deleted to avoid additional charges.

Hope this helps. If you have any follow-up questions, please let me know. I would be happy to help.
