Unable to Add Friends or Use Minecraft Multiplayer Despite All Microsoft+Xbox Privacy Settings Being Allowed

My Microsoft account is over 18 years old, and I'm the organizer of my Microsoft Family. I'm also the only member of the family group, so there aren't any parental controls being applied by someone else.

I've checked my Xbox privacy settings, and under "Privacy, Xbox and Windows 10/11 Online Safety, and Message Safety" everything is set to Allow.

Despite this, I still can't use multiplayer features in Minecraft. The multiplayer option doesn't work even though the setting says it's enabled.

In addition, I'm unable to send or accept Xbox friend requests, even though those permissions are also enabled in my account settings.

I've already confirmed that:

• My Microsoft account is an adult account (18+).
• I'm the organizer of my Microsoft Family.
• There are no other family members who could be restricting my account.
• My Xbox privacy settings all appear to be configured correctly.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows what could be causing it? I'm wondering if this is an issue with my Xbox profile, Microsoft account, or something else entirely.

Since your account is already an adult account, you're the organizer of the Microsoft Family group, and you've confirmed that the Xbox privacy and online safety settings are set to Allow, this does not appear to be a typical Family Safety configuration issue. The fact that both Minecraft multiplayer and Xbox friend requests are affected suggests the issue may be related to how the Xbox profile permissions are being recognized across Xbox services rather than a specific Minecraft setting.

As an additional check, please review all Xbox social permissions, including options related to creating and joining clubs, communicating with other players, and other multiplayer-related features.
