In addition to the good answer you got from the first person, Microsoft stopped selling Windows 10 on January 31, 2023.

From licencing point of view, Windows 7 free upgrade ended long time ago, sometime in 2016.
So, even if your PC meets Windows 10 hardware requirements, and even if you technically succeed to upgrade and activate, you will not be properly licenced.

Have in mind that even Windows 10 is very old OS and that the support has ended.
