A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Hi. I'm Brian and I'll try to help.
OneDrive is a synching tool. Everything in the OneDrive folder, which normally includes Documents, Photos and Desktop, is synched to the cloud. If you delete something in one of those folders on your PC, it will be deleted from the cloud. Likewise, if you delete something from the OneDrive cloud, it will be removed from the computer. This is the way OneDrive is supposed to work. You must first disable OneDrive on the computer and dissociate your account from OneDrive before making any changes or you may lose the files, which are recoverable only if you have made backups of those files. Microsoft does not. Did you recover them from the Recycle Bin, which is where they should get moved when you delete them.
